JVC TH-BA1 Soundbar System with Wireless Subwoofer Review
The JVC soundbar will not replace an actual 5.1 or 7.1 surround system, but what you will get is a good system to fill the room with better sound than just using the speakers from your TV. I am using this with a SONY bravia 46 inch LCD and PS3/Blueray system; I am taking the optical out from the LCD and running it into one of the two optical inputs on the soundbar. I am then using the analog input with the output from an Ipod...both sound great! The soundbar is wall mounted under the LCD and the sub is in the corner of the room, the link-up between the soundbar and the sub works great and synced up on the first try. We use this sytem for watching mostly kids movies and playing PS3 games; the look is stylish and the operation is easy. If you want better than average sound and no wires all over the place, then this system will work nicely.
